Welcome to the Woodside Soccer Club
The soccer program at Woodside is based on providing a safe and comfortable environment in which children can be encouraged to develop their soccer skills with confidence.
Players over 5 years of age can join our Under 7s development squad which provides the opportunity for your child to learn the basic skills required for the game in a relaxed and friendly environment. Junior teams in the Under 8s, Under 9s and Under 10s play with modified rules in a non-competitive league where no points are awarded for results, as the emphasis is on participation and fun. The 2010 season commences on Saturday 17 April and registrations have again been strong this year. In particular, there has been a surge in interest from girls and as such the club will be fielding three all girls teams this season. We have over 160 players aged from 5 to 16 years, playing and participating in the sport they enjoy. This makes us the largest single club in the Adelaide Hills council area.
Woodside Warriors Soccer Club is a non-profit making junior soccer club, with all monies received going back into the club. All coaching and administration is voluntary, keeping membership costs down to one of the lowest in the region.
In 2010 Woodside Warriors Soccer Club has teams from Under 8 up to and including Under 16, with an Under 11, an under 14 and an under 17 girls team in the AHJSA ‘G’ League.
Furthermore, growth in some of the younger age groups means we will be fielding two teams this season in the Under 9s.
